She was born March 3, 2001, in Jasper, to Marlon and Rhoda (Wagler) Wagler.
Kendra was one of God's special children that brought so much joy to everyone that knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her siblings, many cousins and other children.
She attended Lena Dunn Elementary and Washington Junior High School.
Kendra is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Willis and Rosanna Wagler; her uncle, Nelson Wagler; and a cousin, Wendell Mast.
Kendra is survived by her parents, Marlon and Rhoda Wagler; her brothers, Austin and Aaron Wagler; her sisters, Kara and Kinsey Wagler, all at home; her paternal grandparents, Lewis and Mary Wagler of Hartville, Ohio; 20 aunts and uncles; and 37 cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Sunday at Simon J. Graber Complex in Odon. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pleasant View Mennonite Church.

Memorial services were held September 5, 2015 at Zion Mennonite Church, Archbold, OH with burial in Pettisville Cemetery, Pettisville, Fulton Co., Ohio.

She was an avid and skilled quilter who taught quilting classes and received many awards for her quilts. Naomi was responsible for the Mennonite General Conference, Bethlehem 1983 quilt and wall hanging later displayed at the Franconia Mennonite Conference Center as well as the quilt for the Franconia Township Bicentennial celebration. She also donated many quilts and wall hangings to charitable causes.
Naomi is survived by two sons, Leonard B. Walter & wife, Ruth of Telford, PA, Daniel B. Walter & wife, Janice of Export, PA; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; seven step-great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Franklin H. Bergey & wife, Shirley of Lansdale, PA; a sister, Rhoda H. Nissley & husband, Gerard of Elverson, PA and a daughter-in-law, Sharon Walter of Perkasie, PA.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Orie B. Walter, a brother, Walton H. Bergey and two sisters, Beulah Schaffer and Sara Nyce.
A funeral service was March 28, 2015 at Line Lexington Mennonite Church, Line Lexington, PA with burial was in the adjoining church cemetery.

He was born March 17, 1926 at Freeman, SD to Adolph L. and Julia (Kaufman) Waltner. Adolph was born November 5, 1894 and died October 8, 1976. Julia was born December 11, 1896 and died September 1, 1976.
On September 1, 1956 he was married to Audrey Preheim, who was born October 7, 1930 and died June 3, 2006.
A sister-Lynette Krehbiel preceded him in death.
Memorial services were held May 19, 2015 at Salem Mennonite Church, Freeman with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

He was born May 9, 1955 at Freeman, SD to Johnny H. and Mabel (Fliginger) Waltner. Johnny was born June 10, 1916 and died March 2, 2007. Mabel was born December 6, 1922 and died September 28, 2011.
On May 31, 1980 at Freeman he was married to Margaret "Peg" Mary Weier, who was born July 18, 1958 and survives.
Surviving are two daughters, Angela (Nathan) Tanner, and Shannon (Josh) Renkly; one grandchild, a brother - Loren (Carolyn), sister - Shirley Preheim, and his twin brother - Rodney (Vernetta).
Memorial services were held July 13, 2015 at Salem Mennonite Church, Freeman, SD with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Roger Lynn Waltner was born a twin in Freeman, South Dakota on May 9, 1955, to Johnny H. and Mabel Waltner and died suddenly as the result of a motorcycle accident on July 9, 2015.
Roger was baptized May 28, 1972 at the Salem Mennonite Church of rural Freeman, South Dakota at which point he began his dedication and service to the Lord.
Roger attended District 68 grade school in rural Turner County and graduated from Freeman Academy in 1973, where he was known for his story-telling and mischievous antics. He also attended Freeman Junior College for a short time. On May 31, 1980 he married Peg Weier at the Salem Mennonite Church. Throughout their marriage, they were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Angela and Shannon, and have welcomed two son-in-laws, Nathan and Josh, and a precious grandson, Beau. His family was his pride and joy, and adding "grandpa" to his title was something that made him very proud. Living on a farm was Roger's passion all throughout his life. He began farming at the family dairy with his dad and brother Rodney which continued after purchasing his own farmstead in 1973. Working the fields and raising livestock cultivated his love for farming and being outdoors. After 25 years on the farm, he added a new adventure: punching the time clock, which didn't always fair well with his "Waltner time". In 2002 Roger began working at FedEx in Sioux Falls where his personality and charm touched a new set of friends. He continued working at FedEx up to the time of his death. Over the past few years, Roger also enjoyed working with his friend Elton "Kraut" Schoenwald for Marion Well Drilling.
Roger was faithfully involved in his church through various roles. He was an active member of the South Dakota Jaycees where he put his community service to good use and created lifelong friendships. In addition, Roger thoroughly enjoyed volunteering his time & renewing friendships at Freeman Academy's annual Schmeckfest. Late summers brought a smile to his face as he served on the fair board and volunteered his time to the Turner County Fair, known to him as the "four best days of summer." It wasn't always easy, but he was a true Vikings fan and enjoyed NASCAR racing. When Roger wasn't working, you could find a talented and endearing man tinkering with things on the farm, collecting and selling antiques, fishing, socializing, attending city celebrations, and taking pride in the upkeep of the farm. This was testimony to Roger's work ethic while treasuring time spent with his family and friends. Roger will always be remembered for his devotion to God and family, selflessness, sense of adventure and humor. He has touched many lives and will be terribly missed.
Surviving are wife Peg of 35 years; daughter Angela Tanner and husband Nathan and son Beau of Reno, NV; daughter Shannon Renkly and husband Josh of Arlington, SD; sister Shirley Preheim; brother Loren (Carolyn); twin brother Rodney (Vernetta); brother-in-law Jerry (Adrienne) Weier; brother-in-law Ray (MaryBeth) Weier; sister-in-law Judy Weier; sister-in-law Marnie Weier; sisterin-law Diane Weier; brother-in-law John (Evelyn) Weier; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents Johnny and Mabel Waltner, in-laws Herbert and Genevieve Weier, brother-in-law Bob Weier, nephew Dalton Waltner, and nieces Ann Marie and Teresa Weier.

She was born on September 6, 1938 in Earl Township, Lancaster County, daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie Hoover Musser. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference.

GOSHEN - Barbara E. Weaver, 86, of Goshen and formerly of Middlebury, died at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Greencroft Health Care Center in Goshen.
She was born Nov. 12, 1928, in Buchanan County, Iowa, to the late David and Mattie (Yoder) Schrock.
On Feb. 27, 1949, in Wakarusa, she married Lowell E. Weaver. He died April 12, 2013.
Surviving are her children, Tom (Barbara) Weaver of Goshen, Steve (Susan) Weaver of Salt Lake City, Rebecca (Gary) Cline of Swoope, Va., and Patricia Weaver of California; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings Sue Kurtz and Edward Schrock, both of Goshen, Bob Schrock of Mishawaka and David Schrock of Indianapolis; and her faithful companion, Coco.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Alvin Schrock, Elizabeth Beck, Alma Bontrager and Mary Yoder.
Visitation will be for an hour prior to the at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, memorial service at Bonneyville Mennonite Church in Bristol. There will be a private burial service in Grace Lawn Cemetery prior.

WAKARUSA - Bertha May Weaver, 100, of Wakarusa, died at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, at Miller's Merry Manor in Wakarusa.
Born Nov. 9, 1914, Bertha celebrated her 100th birthday! She was born in Harrison Township in Elkhart County, to John M. and Anna (Schrock) Weaver.
Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Mary (Lloyd) Everly, Ruth (Henry) Burmeister, Emma Zimmerman, Wilma (Dana) Shaum, Naomi (Alvin) Martin, Florence (Vernard) Guengerich, Wayne (Joyce) Brubacher, Esther (Stephen) Walter, Lowell (Doris) Weaver, Carol (Marvin) White and Grace (Randall) Kauffman.
Preceding her in death were her parents, half sisters Martha Imhoff and Anna Brubacher and half-brothers Elias Weaver and Amos Weaver.
Bertha was a nurses aide at Elkhart General Hospital, retiring in 1979 after 27 years. She was a member of Yellow Creek Mennonite Church and enjoyed quilting, which she did even up to her 100th birthday.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, March 9, at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, 64901 C.R. 11, Goshen, where a service will follow at 4 p.m. Pastor Wes Bontreger and Pastor Vernard Guengerich will officiate. Burial will be in Yellow Creek Cemetery.

She was born in Brecknock Township to the late Noah and Elizabeth (Wise) Zimmerman and was the wife of the late Allen W. Weaver who passed away December 27, 2012.
Bertha was a member of the Meadow Valley Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

PORT TREVORTON — Daniel Martin Weaver, 86, of Port Trevorton, passed away on Sunday evening, April 19, 2015, at his home.
He was born June 24, 1928, in Thompsontown, a son of the late Banks and Anna Mae (Weaver) Weaver. On Feb. 27, 1952, he married the former Naomi Kauffman who preceded him in death in 1991.
He was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church, Mount Pleasant Mills, where in his early years he had served as a deacon before moving to Paraquay, South America where he lived for 14½ years. He relocated to Breckinridge, Ky., where he lived for three years before moving back to Snyder County.
He was a farmer most of his life.
He is survived by seven children and their spouses, Lois, wife of John Schrey, of Port Trevorton, Ruth Ann Weaver, of Port Trevorton with whom he made his home, Paul and Diana Weaver, of Redgranite, Wis., Glenn and Linda Weaver, of Middleburg, Earl and Elizabeth Weaver, of Liverpool, Miriam Riehl, of Port Trevorton, and Orpha, wife of Anthony Zimmerman, of Mount Pleasant Mills; 31 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth, wife of Elvin Graybill, of Richland; and two sisters-in-law, Cora Weaver, of Mifflinburg, and Pauline Weaver, of McAlisterville.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Eunice in 1990; son-in-law, Paul Riehl in 2005; grandson, Ethan Zimmerman in 2007; three brothers, John, Samuel, and David Weaver; sister, Anna Graybill; brother-in-law, Glen Graybill; and sister-in-law, Nora Weaver.
A viewing will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bethel Mennonite Church, Mount Pleasant Mills. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Shade Mountain Mennonite Church, Mount Pleasant Mills with the Bethel Mennonite Church ministry officiating.
Burial will be in the Bethel Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Born in Strasburg Township, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Gertrude (Buckwalter) Lefever.
In earlier years, Grace assisted at Weaver Memorials, New Holland, with her husband Earl. She was a member of New Holland Mennonite Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years and enjoyed coordinating meals at various church functions. She had served on the Board of the New Holland Early Learning Center and the Auxiliary of Landis Homes. She had the gift of hospitality and opened their home to Fresh Air children as well as MCC International Volunteers. Grace was an avid Scrabble player and loved reading the Bible, traveling, raising houseplants, reciting poetry, and spending time with family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Grant, married to Miranda (Montclar) Weaver, of Buckley, WA, Violet, married to Ken Kreider, of Manheim, Steven Weaver of Lititz, Tom, married to Lori (Prussner) Weaver, of Lancaster, and Lori Weaver of Lancaster; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and a brother, James B. Lefever, of Kirkwood.

LEWISBURG - Howard E. Weaver, 89, formerly of Middleburg, died in his home at 381 Hill School Road, at 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015. He was lovingly cared for by his wife and family, as well as Evangelical Hospice for the past nine months.
He was born Jan. 3, 1926, in Columbiana, Ohio, a son of the late Edwin and Lena Weaver. On May 18, 1952, he married L. Arlene Witmer who survives. Together they farmed in Columbiana, Ohio before moving their family to Pennsylvania in 1965.
The Weaver dairy farm on Walnut Acres Road near Penns Creek, was also known for its years of tomato and strawberry production. Many area youth spent part of their summers helping the Weaver's harvest crops.
Howard was a member of the Millmont Mennonite Church, where he served many years on the pastoral team. He lived a full life, faithful to the Lord, ministering to his family, church and community.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of nearly 63 years, are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ernest Weaver, of Middleburg, James and Joy Weaver, of Lewisburg, and Dan and Tina Weaver, of Lewisburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and John Stoltzfus, of Hillside, Colo.; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Weaver, of Millmont; 24 children happily called him Grandpa; and 44 great-grandchildren blessed his days; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Sara Weaver, of Columbiana, Ohio, Mary Ellen and Willis Eberly, of Orville, Ohio, Anna Kathryn and George Reesor, of Stouffville, Ontario, Canada.
He was preceded in death by one son, John Weaver; one daughter-in-law, Lois Weaver; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul and David Weaver; and two sisters Alma Martin and Edith Good.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, followed by the funeral at 10:30, at the Millmont Mennonite Church, 1250 Millmont Road, with Richard Herr, Nathan Reiff, and Roy Longenecker, officiating ministers.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

GOSHEN - James Oliver Weaver, 95, of Goshen, died at 1:20 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at Greencroft Healthcare in Goshen.
He was born Oct. 22, 1920, in Elkhart County, to Amzey D. and Bessie Fay (Grosh) Weaver.
He married Vera Mae (Troyer) Weaver on June 14, 1946.
Surviving are his wife, Vera Mae of Goshen; sons Larry (Marge Litwiller) Weaver of Hopedale, Ill.; Jon (Kathy Yoder) Weaver and Roger (Betty Roth) Weaver, both of Elkhart; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers Harold (Mary) Weaver and Howard Weaver, both of Elkhart; Richard (Dorothy) Weaver of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Weaver of Elkhart.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Donald Weaver.
Growing up, James was a member at Prairie Street Mennonite Church, then later at Olive Mennonite Church.
He was a 1939 graduate of Elkhart High School and served with Civilian Public Service. He worked in retail wholesale for 30 years for Elkhart Paint and Wallpaper and Chupps Carpets, and 11 years for Elkhart Community Schools and Goshen College.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, with a service at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, all in The Meetinghouse at Greencroft Healthcare, 1904 S. 15th St., Goshen. The Rev. Kevin Yoder and the Rev. Troy Weaver will officiate. Burial will be in Olive (West) Cemetery.

LEWISBURG - L. Arlene Weaver, 82, formerly of Middleburg, died in her home at 381 Hill School Road, at 10:02 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2015. She was born May 15, 1933, in Columbiana, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ezra and Lulu (Shaum) Witmer. On May 18, 1952, she married Howard E. Weaver, who preceded her in death Jan. 20, 2015.
In 1965 they moved from Columbiana, Ohio, to their dairy farm on Walnut Acres Road, where Arlene's hours of service, and good cooking, helped the family farm run smoothly.
Arlene made a career of caring for her husband and five children, working together with her family raising tomatoes and strawberries, serving others in many ways, and being an exceptional grandmother.
Arlene was a member of the Millmont Mennonite Church.
Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ernest Weaver, of Middleburg, James and Joy Weaver, of Lewisburg, and Dan and Tina Weaver, of Lewisburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and John Stoltzfus of Hillside, CO; and one daughter-in-law, Brenda Weaver, of Millmont; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Warren and Lucille Witmer, of Archbold, Ohio, and David and Joanna Witmer, of Columbiana, Ohio; one sister and brother-in-law, Martha and John Bacher, of Wolford, North Dakota; 24 grandchildren; and 50 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, John Weaver; one daughter-in-law, Lois Weaver; two brothers, Vernon and John Witmer; one sister, Anna Mary Weaver; and two great-grand-children;

SAN DIEGO - Max Weaver, 83, passed away Jan. 12.
He was born in Elkhart, Ind., to Meno and Maud Bechtel Weaver, Mennonites who raised him in Elkhart and Nappanee, Ind.
He is survived by Nancy, his wife of 58 years; daughter Cindi Tredwell; son Chris; and grandchildren Kristen and Jamie Tredwell.
He was a most loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a sharp wit and sense of humor and had a long-time interest in politics, gardening, fishing, cooking and handiwork.
Max graduated in 1950 from Nappanee High School. He attended Goshen (Ind.) College, Duke University and Indiana University. He taught English at two Ohio colleges before moving to St. Louis, where he edited medical textbooks. During the racial tensions of the 1960s and 1970s in St. Louis, Max made a priority of community outreach. He was a most generous man, extending help to those with needs of any kind.
He passed on with high spirits and family close by after celebrating his 83rd birthday with family the week before. He gave his heart to everyone and everything he knew - until his heart finally gave out.

For many years, she and Lester attended Hess Mennonite Church near Lititz where Miriam enjoyed teaching Sunday School and helping with church cleaning. Miriam worked in food services in the Conestoga Valley School District. After retirement, she volunteered at the Ephrata Re-Uzit Shop and served as a Vacation Bible School teacher. In additional to gardening, Miriam enjoyed ceramics, doll-making making, and camping with the Campliters. But her best energies were given to her family and friends. She was born in Ephrata to the late Luke S. and the late Anna S. (Martin) Weaver and was the stepdaughter of the late Anna Mary (Martin) Weaver.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Ronald R., husband of Erma (Sensenig) of Reinholds, and L. Keith, husband of JoAnne (Hurst) of Reinholds; two daughters, Sharon D., wife of Steven J. Nolt, New Holland, and Diane K., wife of Jay M. Brubaker, Mount Joy, and was dearly loved by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Miriam is also survived by four brothers, Irvin, husband of Esther (Martin), Ephrata, Luke, widower of Pauline (Martin), Ephrata, Emory, husband of Joan (Hahn), Denver, Lloyd, husband of Naomi (Nolt), Ephrata; and three sisters, Thelma, wife of Nelson Hershey, Mountville, Edith, wife of Paul Gehman, Ephrata, and Rosene, wife of Leonard Martin, Denver. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Arlene (Rutt), wife of the late Raymond Weaver, and Cleo (Zwally), wife of the late Charles Weaver.
Miriam was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Charles, and one sister, Pearl, wife of the late John Eberly.

GOSHEN - Robert Wayne "Bob" Weaver, 84, died at 11:20 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6.
He was born Dec. 21, 1930, to the late Oscar M. and Inez (Wenger) Weaver.
On June 22, 1952, in Wakarusa, he married Mary Ellen Harter. She died Feb. 12, 1988.
On Sept. 17, 1988, in Goshen, he married Joann (Shettler) Miller.
Survivors include his wife; children Terina (Lonnie) Franks of Middlebury and Pamela (Ron) Everingham and James Weaver, both of Goshen; stepchildren Cynthia (Don) Hostetler, Cecilia (Robin Keck) Miller, Craig (Marcia) Miller and Crandall (Carla) Miller; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and brother Glen (Sara) Weaver of Shipshewana.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Cody Franks, and siblings Anna Hunsburger, Fern Witmer and Lowell Weaver.

WOOSTER - Roy D. Weaver, 73, answered the call and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 16, 2015, lovingly surrounded by his family, at home, on 7221 W. Smithville Western Road, Wooster, Ohio.
In his youth he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was a faithful member of the Mennonite Church. He attended Northwestern and was engaged in dairy and poultry farming.
Rejoicing with him, is his wife, Doris (Good) Weaver, whom he married on June 7, 1964 and his children, Linda (Clair) Oberholtzer of Loudonville, OH, Nelson (Connie) Weaver of Sandusky, Mich., LaRoy D. She married Daniel Weaver on Sept. 11, 1949. He died Oct. 18, 2011.

She is survived by three brothers: Marlin of Myers-town; Floyd and J. Elvin of Newmanstown; and two sisters: Lavern wife of James Doutrich of Meigs, GA; Rhoda wife of Wilmer Lehman of Lebanon.
She is also survived by 29 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson.
Thelma was a homemaker and a seamstress of men's plain suits. She was a member of the Richland Mennonite Church where her husband has been a pastor for 44 years. David and Thelma were owners of the Blue Spruce Market for 30 years and have continued to actively contribute to the business.

Viola B. Weaver, 97, of Boiling Springs, PA, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 in her home. She was born March 7, 1918 in Thompsontown, PA to the late Martin & Bertha Bookwalter Weaver. Viola was a member of the Churchtown Mennonite Church. She loved to sew and was a caregiver to so many people, especially everyone at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home.
Viola is survived by her brother, Joseph Weaver of Carlisle. She was predeceased by her sister, Elsie Zimmerman and brothers, Samuel, Chester and Earnest Weaver. Viola had 10 nieces and nephews and 46 great nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held in the Churchtown Mennonite Church on Monday, November 30, 2015 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Slate Hill Mennonite Church and cemetery.
She was born in Ephrata to the late Henry and Ruth (Frankhouser) Turner and was the wife of Titus Weber with whom she shared 44 years of marriage.
Judy was a member of the Metzler Mennonite Church. She was a homemaker, loved the beach, her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 4 children, Wendy, wife of Trevor Graham of Ephrata, Rodney, husband of Wendy Weber of Lebanon, Kristen, wife of Jason Updike of Stevens, Adam, husband of Michelle Weber of Denver; 10 grandchildren, Travis, husband of Nicole Graham of Stevens, Tyler Graham, Tiffany and Austin Updike, Chase, Olivia, Adelynn, Derek, Carson and Zachary Weber; a brother, Barry, husband of Sandy Turner of Lancaster and a sister, Linda, wife of George Foreman of Stevens.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, May 31, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Metzler Mennonite Church, 515 W. Metzler Road, Ephrata. An additional viewing will be held on Monday, June 1, from 9 to 10 a.m., at the church, followed by her funeral service at 10 a.m., with Pastor Nevin Horning officiating. Weber, Lester Clayton, 89, died April 19, 2015 at Landis Homes, Lititz, PA. He was born in Ephrata, PA to Ruth (Kolb) and Abel Weber, as the oldest of four sons. His wife of 63 years, Lydia Weber. Lester was a founding and active member of Akron Mennonite Church before becoming one of the founding members of Pilgrim's Mennonite, also in Akron, PA, serving in various leadership capacities in both congregations.
Survived by his wife of 63 years, Lydia Weber, his children Steven Weber, Louisa and her husband, Thomas Martin, Bonnie and her husband, David Lehman and Philip and his wife, Sharon Esterly; as well as seven grandchildren; Andrew, Rachel, and David Martin, Timothy Taggert, married to Jessica Taggert, Daniel Lehman and Karl and Christian Weber. Lester's brothers Elvin Weber, John Weber (Arlene), and Richard Weber (Viola) are also surviving and living in the area.
Lester was pre-deceased by his parents and step-mother, Ida Benner Weber as well as his sister-in-law, Ruth Weber (Elvin).
A memorial service was at Akron Mennonite Church, Akron, PA on Saturday, April 25, 2015 with Rev. Barry Kreider officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.

David was a self-employed farmer in West Cocalico Twp. He also sold feed supplements for McNess Co. for many years.

Weiler of Sarasota, FL, Harold L., husband of Sharlene (Martin) Weiler of Landisville, Irvin W., husband of Diane (Klick) Weiler of Richland, Sidney, husband of Ruth (Landis) Weiler of Sarasota, FL; 22 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Eli, husband of Ellen (Wenger) Weiler of Ephrata.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Holley Weiler, and a brother, Paul Weiler.

She lived almost her entire life in the Chesapeake, Va., area. She graduated from Great Bridge High School and attended Eastern Mennonite School. She was a lifelong member of Mount Pleasant Mennonite Church in Chesapeake. Charlotte excelled in her career as a caregiver for newborn infants and as a nanny. She was often consulted for difficult cases in infant care.
She is survived by two sisters, Ruth (Dorvin) Schlabach of Goshen, Ind., and Norma (Herb) Brunk of Lima, Ohio; three brothers, John Wenger of Goshen, Ind., Homer Wenger and Herbert Wenger, both of Chesapeake, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Wenger, and a brother, Melvin Wenger.

David Henry Wenger was born March 30, 1938 at his parents farmhouse in Washington County, IA, the son of Emery and Mary (Roth) Wenger. David attended country school before graduating from Olds High School in 1956. David attended Hesston College for two years and then served in 1-W at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN for two years. He was united in marriage to Arlene Yoder on June 15, 1963. The couple started farming west of Swedesburg in 1963 and farmed for over 50 years. They had three children: Kevin, Jan and Jon. David was an active member of Sugar Creek Mennonite Church and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid car collector and especially enjoyed going to car shows.
Survivors include his wife Arlene of Wayland, Kevin (Dorothy) Wenger of Mt. Pleasant, IA., Jan (John) Kauffman of Monroeville, IN., Jon (Ginger) Wenger of Mt. Pleasant, IA., seven grandchildren: Carissa, Nathaniel and Kalen Wenger; Katie and Allison Kauffman; Alexa and Brodie Wenger, three sisters: Mildred (Keith) Gingerich of North English, IA., Beulah (Jerry) Steiner of Wooster, OH, Mary (Mark) Headings of Wooster, OH and several nieces and nephews.

GOSHEN - Jennifer Lee "Jenny" Wengerd, 47, passed away Friday afternoon.
She was born May 11, 1968, in South Korea.
On Oct. 16, 1993, she married Doug Wengerd.
He survives along with two sons, Benjamin and Isaiah, both at home; her parents, Paul and Caroll June (Hostetler) Roth of Killbuck, Ohio; and four siblings, Linda (Phil) Yoder of Killbuck, Tim (Peggy) Roth of Millersburg, Ohio, John D. (Ruth) Roth of Goshen and Stan (Susan) Roth of Archbold, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Roth.
She graduated from Central Christian High School in Kidron, Ohio, and Goshen College. She was a member of Waterford Mennonite Church in Goshen.
Jenny, a title one instructor at Model Elementary School, focused on helping children learn to read. Interacting with children was the highlight of her teaching. Jenny used her creativity to create gifts for those around her.
Friends may call from noon to 3 and 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Waterford Mennonite Church, where a memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20. Pastor Neil Amstutz will officiate. A memorial service will be at a later date in Millersburg, Ohio. Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.

Wengerd, Jennifer Lee Roth, 47, of Goshen, IN died September 11, 2015 at At the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Goshen, IN from a massive cerebral hemorrhage.
She was born May 11, 1968 in South Korea. On October 16, 1993 she was married to Doug Wengerd, who survives.
Also surviving are her parents, Paul and Caroll June (Hostetler) Roth; two sons, Benjamin Park Wengerd and Isaiah Steven Wengerd; a sister, Linda (Phil) Yoder, Killbuck, Ohio; and three brothers, Tim (Peggy) Roth, Millersburg, Ohio; John D (Ruth) Roth, Goshen, IN; and Stan (Susan) Roth, Archbold, Ohio.
A brother, Steve Roth preceded her in death.
She joined the Family of Paul and Caroll June Roth in Killbuck, Ohio when she was nearly 3 years old. Jenny graduated from Central Christian High School, Kidron, Ohio, attended Hesston College for one year, and graduated from Goshen College in 1991. Throughout her life Jenny delighted in learning new skills. She especially enjoyed craft projects, bringing enthusiastic creativity to knitting and cross-stitch, scrapbooks, stamping, greeting cards, jewelry, master gardening, and essential oils. She was a gifted chef, specializing in Korean cuisine, but also delighting in trying new recipes - especially international foods. Over the past years, Jenny worked in various roles in the Concord and Goshen Community Schools. Most recently, she served as a computer technician at Parkside Elementary and a Title One instructor at Chamberlain and Model Elementary Schools. Jenny loved to interact with children, using her creativity in helping her students learn to read. In each of these settings, Jenny developed a network of loyal friends. She took great pleasure in meeting with friends for meals or around craft projects.

MIDDLEBURY - Lovina E. Whetstone, 93, of Middlebury, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday, May 25, at her great-niece's home in Middlebury.
She was born Aug. 18, 1921, in St. Joseph County, Mich., to the late Eli A. and Lizzie (Yoder) Bontrager.
On Aug. 20, 1963, in LaGrange County, she married Samuel S. Whetstone. He died Dec. 19, 2008.
Surviving are three sisters, Edna Farmwald, Wilma Miller and Lizzie (Lewis) Hochstetler, all of Shipshewana; and brother Alton (Arlene) Bontrager of Middlebury.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Fannie Miller and Anna Mae Bontrager, and three brothers, Homer, Levi and Harley Bontrager.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, and all day Thursday, May 28, at Harley Beechy's home, 0155 S. 1000 W., Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 29, also at Harley Beechy's home. Burial will be in Bontrager Cemetery in Middlebury.

Surviving are children, Gwen Widmer and husband Patrick Clancy, Kansas City, Mo.; Theodore Widmer and wife Linda Widmer, Mt. Pleasant; Jane Widmer Yoder and husband Frank Yoder, Kalona; Jean Clark and husband Dan Clark, Muscatine; James Widmer and wife Alice Widmer, Mt. Pleasant; and Janice Hadley, Wayland, former exchange student and family member Madjid Nader and wife Shirin and two sons; 13 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
An infant son, infant twin grandsons, her brother Timothy; and her sister Ruby preceded her in death.
Memorial services were held October 10, 2015 at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church, Wayland, IA with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Surviving besides his wife are twin daughters: Amber L. wife of Todd B. Zimmerman and Melissa L. Winters, both of Lancaster and 4 grandchildren: Jordan Armand Colon, Megan Paige Zimmerman, Isaiah Lee Alston and Evan Luke Zimmerman. He has another grandson due to arrive in March. He is also survived by 5 siblings.
He was preceded in death by 4 siblings.
A graveside service was Monday, March 2nd at 1:30 p.m., at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster, PA. Pastors Fred Martin and Tim Rogers will be officiating.

Witmer, Leon E., 56, of Pine Grove, and formerly of Lancaster County, died peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2015. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Harold F. and Naomi Mumma Witmer of Manheim. In his early years, Leon worked on the family farm in Schuylkill County. He was a member of Roedersville Mennonite Church, Pine Grove. Leon's interests included riding motorcycles and horses.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two brothers: Harold Jr. husband of Nancy Witmer of Elizabethtown, James Witmer of Pine Grove, and a sister, Rachel wife of Jay Hilsher of Manheim. Leon is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Witmer, Naomi K. Mumma, 84, of Manheim, died peacefully at home on Friday, July 3, 2015. Born in Penn Township, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Ruth Kulp Mumma. She was the loving wife of Harold F. Witmer and they observed their 64th Wedding Anniversary in November of last year. For many years Naomi worked along-side her husband and children on the family farm. She was a member of the East Petersburg Mennonite Church. Naomi enjoyed spending time in the mountains in Tioga County. A great homemaker throughout her life, Naomi loved sewing, cooking, baking, freezing and canning foods.
Surviving in addition to her husband Harold, are two sons: Harold Jr. husband of Nancy Witmer of Elizabethtown, James Witmer of Pine Grove, a daughter, Rachel wife of Jay Hilsher of Manheim, ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a brother, David husband of Marian Mumma of Pine Grove. Preceding her in death is a son, Leon Witmer, and two sisters: Esther Heisey and Martha Groff.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the East Petersburg Mennonite Church, 6279 Main Street, East Petersburg, on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing at the church on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with additional viewing on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. COLUMBIANA - Walter E. Witmer, 89, passed away early Sunday morning, August 30 at his home.
Mr. Witmer was born on May 16, 1926, in Columbiana, a son of the late Merle and Annie (Rhodes) Witmer. He was a dairy and poultry farmer, and enjoyed delivering eggs and produce to his customers in the Youngstown, Boardman, and Canfield area. Walter was a long-time member of the Pleasant View Mennonite Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Showalter, whom he married October 19, 1950; two sons D. Philip (Nancy) Witmer and Jason (Iva) Witmer and two daughters Rebecca (Marc) Baird and Rachel Witmer, all of Columbiana; daughter-in-law Nora Witmer of Leetonia; 22 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; three brothers Amos Witmer of Mt. Crawford, VA, Harry Witmer of Leetonia and Jacob Witmer of New Holland, PA; and a sister Martha Lehman of Columbiana.
Walter was preceded in death by a son Luke Witmer, a daughter Priscilla Witmer, a granddaughter Sylvia, a brother Daniel Witmer, a sister Elsie Nason and two infant brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant View Mennonite Church, 3990 Renkenberger Road, Columbiana with the Pleasant View ministry officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2 at Pleasant View Mennonite School on 2419 Beeson Mill Road, Leetonia, OH 44431.
